On 3 December 2024, SJSC "Elektroniskie sakari" invites representatives of the catering and hospitality industry to participate in the seminar "Available support for digitisation of business processes. What companies need to know about the use of radio equipment in Latvia", which will take place at 10:00-11:15 in person at Eksporta iela 5, Riga, as well as online.
The seminar will be of interest to catering and hospitality companies that use various wireless solutions and radio equipment to support their processes and are planning to upgrade their digital and technological services in the near future.
The workshop will cover key issues related to the use of radio equipment. Various wireless devices such as walkie-talkies, wireless video surveillance systems, radio microphones and, more recently, pagers, which are widely used in the catering industry to organise the food ordering process, are all radio equipment and are widely used in the day-to-day operations of the hospitality industry, but their improper use can cause radio interference and other risks. During the seminar, SAC EU experts will provide practical information on what to consider when purchasing radio equipment, how to identify appropriate radio equipment and explain how non-compliant equipment can cause technical problems and radio interference. The seminar will provide participants with concise and actionable information, as well as the opportunity to ask questions of the experts.
The seminar will also provide information on the various support options for digitising processes in business. The participants will be introduced to the possibilities of receiving state and European Union support for modernising their company's internal processes and introducing new digital solutions, as well as to the financial and consultative support available from European digital innovation centres, including the Latvian Digital Accelerator and the Latvian Information Technology Cluster. Digitalisation is now an integral part of business development and the information and support available can be a key step for business growth.
