In 2023, the Recovery and Resilience Facility Plan approved investment 2.2.1.2.i. "Support for digitisation of processes in business" to promote digitisation of processes in business and increase productivity through targeted investment of resources to create higher added value in the business processes of traders.
Assessing the progress of the uptake of the support to date, it can be concluded that the expected results are fast approaching the target. According to the European Digital Innovation Centres (EDICs), by 11 December 2024, 1610 Digital Roadmaps have been issued and 1932 are in the evaluation process, which are intended to attract LIAA grants for investment projects. This status means that funding for support from LIAA is still available for a small number of companies.
To mitigate the risk of exceeding the available funding, applications for new EDIC Digital Roadmaps are open until 1 February 2025. EDIC will consider project applications on a first-come, first-served basis. If EDIC has requested additional information from the project applicant to ensure the issuance of the digital development roadmap, but no response has been received within the specified timeframe or the expiry date of the digital development roadmap has been missed, EDIC may not proceed with the processing of the application received.
At the same time, please be informed that the EDIC continues to accept applications until such time as applications are received for the amount of funding available. Applications will be evaluated on a first-come, first-served basis.
The Ministry of Economy, LIAA and EDIC thank project applicants for their interest in digitising their processes and intend to continue to find solutions for the implementation of various technologies, equipment and software to facilitate faster digital transformation.
Please be informed that in order to further support the digitisation of business processes, a new EU Funds support programme "Support to the digitisation of business processes" is planned to be launched in Q2 2025. This support programme has already been approved by the Cabinet of Ministers and preparations for its launch are currently underway. The conditions of the support programme can be found here.
